Your Friendly Neighborhood Pit Bull
Pit bulls are vicious. I have four of these creatures and I have to say that I am afraid of them. I am scared to pet them, scared that they will lick me to death. I am nervous that when I open the door they will be knock me over out of sheer excitement to greet me by licking my face. Terrified that they will overheat me while I sleep in their efforts to be closer to me than what is physically possible.
I am also scared for my children. Scared that they will become so attached to each other that they will all be emotionally scarred when my kids leave for college. Scared that my kids won’t be able to handle it when their beloved canine protectors eventually die from old age or disease.
Most of all, I am afraid for my dogs. Terrified that these gentle, misunderstood beasts will be targeted by the man in charge for a breed-wide ban and my affectionate, loyal, eternally loving furbabies along with all of their brothers and sisters will be wiped from the face of the earth and this wonderful breed will die out. Horrified that these undeserving dogs whose only crime is that they would die to protect those they love, that they would die to save their family from harm, would be killed off because people are afraid of what they don’t know, and what they don’t know is that these dogs are not the enemy, and if you don’t know a pit bull well enough to realize that, then you are the one who is missing out.
Punish the deed, not the breed.
*applauds* Nicely said.

We miss her terribly as she was stolen we think. She just dissapeared one day while we were gone from home.Wew put up flyers trying to find her offering a reward but never found her. Ginger we miss you.
